![]() It's not a case where if nintendo doesn't go after fan works, they lose the ability to do so at all. The actual term for it is Genericization. That's indeed the case with trade marks, but only with trade marks, and it doesn't really work quite like that. Snowhead and Great Bay I believe have a place in the story too. If anything, those are the ones that you should be revisiting in the future. Majora's Mask has a lot of side quests that have a lot of obscure but memorable tracks. ![]() You could even have the third disk with three custom Art Covers (Goron Mask, Zora Mask, and Giant's Mask, and have your fans download the cover of their favorited choice!) I'm just thinking of the promotion ideas right now. ![]() Just adding a bit of Snowhead and Great Bay leaves you with 6-8 tracks for Ikana, Stone Tower Temple, and how you'd like to finish the story. All of my friends who listen to your work would love to see you cover the Temples. You could have your community vote, or just do your choice of one track from each area next to the Temples - (Snowhead, Great Bay) since if I recall correctly, you already have material for them. It has a much more iconic introduction in OoT because you can literally set up "Beneath the Well" and I'm sure everyone would love to see you tackle something like the Shadow Temple in the future.ĭo Disk 3 covering 1-2 tracks from Snowhead and Great Bay, which will have the best middle ground appeal to everyone. Because Snowhead and Great Bay have borrowed tracks from Ocarina of Time, you're going to essentially please Majora's Mask fans in a way by covering these areas in your Ocarina of Time album. Southern Swamp is near identical to Northern Village, Great Bay, and Ikana. We're talking about the Temple of Time, Trinrova Sisters, Lost Woods/Woods of Mystery, the domain of Goron's and the Zora. Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time share quite a bit of tracks. But there are many things that I would like to bring up. I personally don't want to see you close to anything like being burned out. I can definitely hear differences from Time's End, and that's a good thing! I really can't sing enough praises for your work, and you really should add a disclaimer that everyone needs to listen with high quality headphones for the complete experience. Perhaps another great bit of having to wait between albums is it gives us the chance to see how your musical styles are growing and changing over time. If you've only got so much story left in you for the project, then I'm perfectly happy with the two we've gotten so far, and maybe one final album. If you've got a lot more to tell us, I'm happy to wait for 2 or 3 new albums. You get the creative liberty of deciding how much of the story you'd like to tell in each album. The nice part of this project is that you are the author here. I know I personally would be happy to wait as long as it took to end up with a complete musical retelling of Majora's Mask. I think one of the most magical things with your music is that it is telling a story, and isn't just a series of well composed remixes of favorite tracks from the game.
